Community Organizer and Leader turned Political Campaigner.

I've been on the road for the past year working to pass Nondiscrimination Protections inclusive of Gay and Transgender people at the state level. It's been a bumpy ride full of curveballs - securing these protections is my dream and organizing is both a privilege and my passion.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

On the road back home to Texas and given current events - need to make more stops than previously planned. 👉 Goal is to turn in somewhere safe by sundown.

I have an inflatable mattress. Super down to earth and easy going. Only need a safe place to sleep and shower for the night. You don't need to feed me or show me around and I get many offers - you can't adopt me, I love my mom. ❤

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Organized the first Pride March in my community with the help of a great team of youth leaders. I knew it would be a beautiful day - what I saw changed my life. Hundreds of people poured in and LGBTQ youth (it was an all ages event!) could hardly contain their amazement seeing hundreds of queer people who openly embraced their identities and orientation.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach Spanish, Photoshop, principles of [Digital] Photography, Community Organizing. There is a long list of community organizing training resources and experience to share.
