About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am trying to find the right path in this world

ABOUT ME

I'm trying to find my way in this life, as nowaday life can offer us a lot of opportunities. Most of all I'm interested in painting, photomaking, high ropes and snowboarding.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy is still in the making. I think that it is changing and improving during all my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was a surfer in many cities and towns during my travelling across the USA. I did that trip with my friend and she managed all the requests, that is why I don't have many references in my profile. I joined the society in August 2011 and it all began with a wonderful stay in Charlston, SC. We spent a day at Jim's house. He was very kind to us. Then there was a day in beautiful Savannah, GA and BBQ with amasing people singing songs and playing the drums. Unfortunaely we had to go in order to end our travelling in time. I also was a surfer in Miami, Washington DC, NY, Chicago, LA, SF. Those were great days.
Then I surfed in Berlin and England. In Jan 2017 I moved from Moscow to St Petersburg and I'm happy to meet new couchserfers here.

Interests

photomaking, sport, pets, reading, hiking; I like to enjoy a cup of tea and play board games with my friends; travelling is my passion, backpaking is the best idea for 5 stars holidays with "nothing inclusive".

Teach, Learn, Share

What I've learnt from my experience of being a surfer is great importance of the fact that you should pay attention to the convinience of your host. Most of them are busy people and just want to see foreigners, learn smth about their culture, so respect their territory and don't be a burden. And one more - don't be shy :) If they've sheltered you, they are already interested in you. Oh, and the last thing - be ready to represent your motherland. People are very curious sometimes. And it's always great to listen to some stories and customs from another country.
