I have just dropped into the blue mountains to cleanse my soul. City living is not made for the sensitive and I have bèen lucky enough to find myself living on a farm, far from the masses. We live with trees, cows, chickens and a cheeky cat named alfie.
Connecting deeply with the cycles of each day while traveling has been one of my teachers. How we find ourselves situated in place and environment is ultimately who we are. As we experience ourselves through the place that we find ourself in, and to be offered the experience of being welcomed into the daily cycle of someone who knows life differently to me has educated me in ways that I struggle to describe. Each place, each face, opens my perception to the diversity of the human experience and at the same time alters the path of my life.
