About Me

i'm an activist -- working as a musician and with performing arts to improve people's self esteem and living conditions. i climb and hike with youth groups, dance on stilts, play accordeon/clarinet/trombone/percussion, juggle with kids on the street, visit refugee camps and orphanages, and keep a clown nose handy in a pocket...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

i'm nomadic, traveling most of the time i've been living -- i'm familiar with enterng an unknown city and playing on the streets, meeting people and asking if i can stay with them, so couchsurfing makes it easier -- to once in a while know where i'm staying a few days in advance!

when i lived in Frankfurt/Main, i often invited musicians i met to stay with me in the yurt.

now that I'm living in an okupa community in the woodland hills north of Barcelona, i hope to be able to host people sometimes =o)

Interests

my hobbies have become my jobs! like welding cargo bikes and tallbikes, making circus camps, and cycling around the world with music shows and social workshops.

Music, Movies, and Books

a great story with interesting insights on what it could be like to live in an anarchistic society:

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

just one? =o)
cycled from Berlin to Rostov and continued by bike and train and hitchhiking trucks to Mongolia and throughout Asia, eastern Europe, Turkey and eastern Arabia.

then i took a deep breath and held it while watching the world go around in silence.
