About Me
Hello! I'm Tyler. I'm 24 years old and am a fun, outgoing individual. I enjoy trying new foods and being physically active. I play basketball whenever I get the chance and will occasionally go for a run. I moved to San Diego a year ago after graduation from college at Suffolk University in Boston, Massachusetts. I graduated with a BS in Psychology but after some introspection I don't think that's going to be my career path. I'm open to learning more about the world and want to see what it has to offer me as well what I can offer it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My younger brother and I have realized that we NEED to see other parts of the world. We have both reached a point in our lives where we need to explore and experience life outside of the U.S.. Neither of us makes a lot of money so we figured Couchsurfing would be a great way to get around and meet some awesome people! We're both looking for answers in our lives; answers to "what career should I choose? What should be my next step? Where do I want to settle down?". We're hoping by experiencing different countries we might gain some perspective.
Interests
I like playing and watching sports! I played soccer (football, futbol) for 12 years and will still play pick-up games when I get the chance. I also enjoy trying different bars, beers, and restaurants. Both of those things give me opportunities to swap stories with new interesting people.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite movies: Moonrise Kingdrom, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Pineapple Express, The Dark Knight.
Books: Gone Girl, Harry Potter, Hunger Games.
Music: Ben Howard, Of Monsters and Men, Mumford & Sons.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once walked/skateboarded 40 miles (64 km) in 12 hours. I traveled through backroads, bushes, over bridges and through towns. It was something I had to push through towards the end. But I feel it made me a stronger person.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm funny! Really, I considered myself to be pretty witty. I may come off as shy and polite at first, but that's because I like getting to know people first.
