About Me

I'm a 25 year old from Melbourne. People have said I'm super laid back and not phased by to much.
I'm currently traveling around the U.S for 12 months, have been working in coffee for the last 6 months. I have loved it but it is time to switch things up and have a bit more of an adventure.
I've finished a degree in commerce and law in Melbourne and I'm looking to put off using it and 'real life' as long as I possibly can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Very new to couch surfing but my experiences so far have been amazing. Sorry I don't have many references yet. I'm here to meet as many people from all parts of the earth as possible. To listen and learn from experiences other people have had and try to have as much fun as possible. To interact with people who I wouldn't otherwise, to make some wicked friends and always be spreading the good stuff.

Interests

When I'm home my interests are pretty much split evenly between; socialising, drinking good coffee, seeing as much live music as possible, exploring the outdoors, skateboarding and snowboarding at every opportunity and generally trying to have as much fun as possible with open minded, quality people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - My music is continually changing but there's always a bit of everything in my weekly rotation. Paul Simon is a go to, but there's always a lot of hip hop on my ipod as well.

Books - I've always got a book on the go! Anything sharply written and realistic. I don't mind a lot of beat authors and John Irving is a favourite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My trip to India a couple of years ago was pretty amazing. Myself and 3 friends travelled the south to the north of India in a little over three weeks. We didn't realise quite how far we had to go and how demanding that would be until we were actually doing it! In the end the challenge of it made the experience even more than we could have hoped for. We all got some pretty great stories out of that trip, for sure.

Teach, Learn, Share

Not to sure what I would be able to teach but love the experience of talking and trading stories with people. As for learning, one my main reasons for any of the travel I do is to open my mind up more and more to the way that people get by all around the world. So as I travel I try to meet as many new people as I can and learn who they really are.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a pretty relaxed guy. I'm always up for a good time and just looking to explore as much as possible. I definitely don't take myself to seriously and love meeting new people. More than happy to trade a few stories and get to know some new folks.
