One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My band has an upcoming commission from the MoPOP (Museum of Popular Culture)...formally the EMP Museum in Seattle on March 3.

My bandmate already got a place, but I"m trying to make sure I want to move back to Seattle.. (I lived here for 6 months in 2012)

I Tyler Jacobsen is a media artist, programmer, and creative technologist. In 2003, Jacobsen received a fellowship from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, earning an MFA from their Integrated Electronic Art Program (iEAR).
While studying at R.P.I., He instructed digital art and technology courses, and further developed an arts practice that integrated online database art, interactive video, with multimedia, experimental performance and music production.
He has exhibited work, conducted workshops, and held performances at art spaces, galleries and museums worldwide such as the Next 5 Minutes in Amsterdam, Transmediale in Berlin, the ICA in London and MassMOCA. Jacobsen has received grants from NYFA and Franklin Furnace, and residencies at Eyebeam in Manhattan, and Folly Media Centre in Lancaster, UK. Tyler has taught in the Design and Technology Department at Parson’s School of Design and was an Visiting Assistant Professor at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY
