About Me

I'm a 22 year old with a passion for games and music. I love to debate interesting topics and hear new perspectives. I have two cats at home whom I love very much, and love animals in general. Rabbits scare me a bit though, something about thier eyes.

I try to make my home life as good as I can so everyday I am doing doing something I love or working towards a goal. My goals right now are: Become a great game master, learn Piano, learn japanese, become a better artist, and get an agent for voice acting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm currently on a month long europe trip with my girlfriend and she has had some very good experiences with the cs community. Once I get back I would like to try out hosting myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I am a big fan of many types of music, but my main genres are probably: ska-punk, power metal, and bluegrass.
Some of my favorite bands/artists are: Luca Turilli, The Interrupters, The Aquabats, Knorkator, The Pine Hill Haints, Sonata Arctica, The Cowmen, and many more.

Books: I have read nearly everything Brandon Sanderson has wrote and I am a big fan. I'm eagerly awaiting the third book of the kingkiller chronicles and the next book in the song of ice and fire series. A couple more authors I love are Scott Meyer, Brent Weeks, and Jahtzee Croshaw.

Movies: I'm not as huge on movies, but I'll list some of my favorites: Tokyo Godfathers, Koe no Katachi, Memories of Murder, Oldboy, The Raid Redemption, Redline, Dear Zachary, and In Bruges.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the coolest thing I've done is canoe down the Yukon river for a week. It was a crazy experience and I haven't had one like it before or after.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know plenty of rulesets for tabletop rpgs, board games and card games, and could maybe teach a few you may not know. I would love to share a game of some sort with you and introduce you to something you haven't tried.
I can tell you about how your ventilation system probably works.
I would like to learn how you view your city and what it looks like from your perspective. I'm also always taking suggestions for new music to listen to.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My knowlege of unimportant things, a pen and paper game session, a conversation, and a smile and laugh.
