Overview
About Me
I'm a high spirited, outgoing, lover of all people places and things. I adore the outdoors, and I often stop to stare at the clouds for a while. I'm poised on edge for any adventure that may arise - so lets do something.
CURRENT MISSION:
Recently my current mission changed from traveling around the world to settling into Barcelona. Hopefully very soon I'll be able to start hosting guests!
PHILOSOPHY:
I could say a lot, but it's not that complicated. Occupy your reality, and see the beauty in others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have yet to host anyone, but I do want to return the favor once I'm settled down. For now, I want to catch a glimpse into the lives of the most incredible people from around the world who understand hospitality and kindness - aka you all!

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC:
I grew up listening to the Beatles, James Taylor and Norah Jones, but I've deviated a little into all genres - mostly blues and jazz with some interest in folk, americana, and alt rock. But I also like some classical, Spanish guitar, old hip hop, modern pop, and the occasional trance.
MOVIES:
I'm horrible with remembering movie titles, and even worse with directors. But I am a Tarantino fan. I'm more into trilogies and series than movies. Star Wars, obviously... I also like some mellow dramas too, as well as some cringe worthy. Favorite movie, though, is Eternal Sunshine On the Spotless Mind.
BOOKS:
For philosophy I liked Nietzsche's Thus Spoke Zarathustra, and Plato's Apology. I like Hume and Locke, but philosophy of religion isn't really my jam. Decarte is cool, but only because he's kinda crazy. I enjoy reading philosophy, but some are too much. Like all of Kant's Critiques... For travel fiction I really liked Laurie Lee's As I Walked Out One Midsummer Morning, as well as Kerouac's On the Road.
For straight fiction I like modern coming-of-age classics like Catcher in the Rye and Alice in Wonderland. Everything Hemingway. I've really been into James Joyce recently. Also Rudyard Kipling.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once leaped from the Kinbane headland into the Inner Seas off the West Coast of Scotland in January. It was cold.
Teach, Learn, Share
TEACH:
Guitar. And I like teaching English. But I love teaching guitar. So if you have one let's break it out.
LEARN:
I'd love to learn some language and culture - especially the colloquial stuff. And I'm a big fan of walking tours.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Enthusiasm! Along with some kickass stories.
