Overview
About Me
I am a US citizen that is living in Ramallah and running an indoor rock climbing gym and outdoor guiding service. I have been living in the Middle East for over 3 years cumulatively, studying Arabic, climbing rocks, soaking up the culture, and learning about all the ways Arab people are misrepresented in the West.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I enjoy meeting new people from different backgrounds and/or cultures. Our apartment is a very free and open place where we commonly discuss all kinds of issues and current events without judgement or discrimination. Staying here, you will meet several open minded Palestinians and foreigners who are living or have been living in Palestine for a long time. Our apartment is also quite spacious and close to the center of town, making it convenient to host a number of guests comfortably.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Worked with UNESCO in Petra to clear loose rocks from the walls of the Siq... Basically got to access all the secret areas of Petra, climb, and hang on ropes 100 meters in the air to drop 5 ton rocks to the ground :D
