Overview
About Me
I have just embarked on a road trip that I hope steps me out of my comfort zone every step of the way. I'm your typical millennial, graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in May 2016 and I'm on an adventure until my new job starts in early August. Over the next few weeks (maybe months), I hope to reach out to a lot of couchsurfers and hosts for couches and recommendations everywhere I go.
I'm fairly clean and organized so I won't take up much space wherever I stay. I'm also happy to cook you dinner or share a few beers along the way. I just want to meet new people, try new things, and learn all kinds of cool things.

Music, Movies, and Books
I can jam out to just about any music with a beat (including some really bad EDM and fan-girly pop), but my go-to music is generally Alt-Rock. Recently, I've been listening to a bunch of Panic at the Disco, Walk the Moon, Timeflies, Mika, and Smallpools.
I've also recently been reading a lot of non-fiction, teaching myself fun things that I didn't have the chance to learn in college. Specifically, I'm looking to learn more about statistics, economics, parenting, cooking, education, the stock market, and business.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This past summer (June to Auguest 2016) I was a counselor as a summer camp, specializing in building. I taught kids how to use power tools, arts and crafts, electronics, and a whole lot more, while also leading usual summer camp fun like sports and swimming and hikes and stuff. One particular thing I took charge of was running one of the talent shows, which we made Titanic-themed so I built the entire stage on a slant. Ask me about it!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm happy to share my food, a few beers, great stories, or my oddly detailed knowledge of competitive Pokémon, stained glass art, game of thrones fan theories, public speaking, advanced baseball statistics, super hero movies, organizational behavior, and the importance of outdoor education.
If anyone could teach me how to play an instrument or speak another language, I would be eternally grateful.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm always down to chill with a few beers or head out to a bar and see the new place I'm in. I'm also happy to cook dinner and share some recipes and clean up after myself.
