About Me

I am studying abroad in Dublin, Ireland this semester! My friend and I have a goal of seeing as many places as we possibly can while spending minimal money, with hopes of meeting lots of new friends along the way.

I am originally from West Lafayette, Indiana (about 2 hours away from Chicago) and am studying Business Marketing at University College Dublin.

I have never been to Europe before, so there is a whole lot I wish to see before this semester ends. I am comfortable with spending as much or as little time with the host as is wished, and will probably not be in the residence much (only to sleep).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing to meet local people and learn the about less touristy attractions in the various places I plan to travel to. I am also on a fairly strict budget this semester, and am trying to accomplish this while spending minimal money.

Music, Movies, and Books

I will listen to almost every genre of music, but my favorite two are classic rock and hip-hop. Some of my favorite bands/artists are The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Drake, and Chance the Rapper. My favorite movies include Marvel films and funny movies such as 21 Jump Street or anything with Will Ferrell. My favorite book is actually the last one I read, titled 'Switch' which explored the rationality behind thoughts we have every day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have done is snorkel in Cozumel, Mexico. We saw countless sea turtles, tons of starfish, and an incredible amount of fish. I even came face to face with a barracuda, but stayed calm and we both went our separate ways.
