About Me

I studied music theory in university, and for a long time I believed I would make a career out of music, but as I grow older I am beginning to question that. I really believe I need to work in a career where I am actively helping people and interacting with people every day. I would like to work internationally for a while, but after I get my doctoral degree.

I want to go back to Boston some day because that's where my entire family is, and that's where my people are. I am a New Englander at heart, and Boston will always be home for me. I studied abroad for a semester in Tokyo and fell in love with that city. I could find no fault in it, and I immediately felt like it was my second home. I would love to go back someday to live there.

Me encantaría volver algún día a vivir allí.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have traveled for a large part of my life. I've stayed in many hotels, and many hostels. But the only times when I have felt that I have truly experienced the countries I have traveled to are the times I stayed with locals. It is for this reason that I hope to begin couchsurfing so I can truly experience my travels in an authentic way!
