About Me

I'm a 21 year old student originally from Wisconsin (However, I've been living in Michigan for the past three years).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing for a few different reasons. First, I am using this as a platform to meet, and interact with new people in new cities! I love meeting new people, and given how daunting it can be traveling to various places alone, I thought this would be a good way to meet, and hopefully explore the places I visit with likeminded folks!

Currently I'm traveling through New England and am looking for places to stay/people to interact with. I just got done with a stay at a Zen Monastery in the Catskills, and am on to my next adventure.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like all kinds of music besides country. Favorite artists include: Oh Wonder, Panic!, Jeremy Zucker, Blackbear, Bon Iver, Iron & Wine, Lauv, EDEN, and many more!

Favorite book is The Picture of Dorian Gray, hands down. His prose is just too magical. Besides Wilde's work, I also love everything by F Scott Fitzgerald, and Herman Hesse.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've once ran a 5K while wearing a scream costume....

I used to be a photographer for a local Lansing band.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to play ukulele, do zazen (Zen meditation) as well as show you how to bake a pretty good apple pie.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Sharing the things above (ukulele playing, baking techniques, wine related knowledge, zazen, etc)
