About Me
Hey I'm Ty, I do lats of martial arts and love talking about philosophy, religion, life, etc. I smoke weed and drink scotch and beer. I've been wandering around for a little while now and have't really found a place I'd like to call home yet so I just keep moving on from one place to the next. I love the outdoors, all living creatures, cooking vegan food, playing shogi (I can play western chess too), hanging out with friends or total strangers as long as they're cool. I'm really chill and down to earth and I have lots of cool stories to share. Oh and I'm gay in case that's a problem for anyone.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I travel a lot, trying to figure out what's out in the world. People have been telling me forever about this site but I haven't really had a huge use for it until recently. I'm always on a small budget which makes it hard to move around so this seems like a good option. I also like the idea of moving somewhere and instantly having a connection there, since I travel alone more often than not it's nice to know someone who can kind of plug me into the local scene.
Interests
Martial arts, meditation, yoga, marijuana, anything Asian, anime, good scotch, good friends, hiking, camping, socio-political awareness, LGBT culture, trying to save the world from humanity.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like almost every genre of music ever created but right now I'm into a lot of Indie-Electronica / Melodic Dub. Usually I read religious texts and books on philosophy but I've been caught reading some fiction every once in a while, the last novel I read was Brave New World which I loved.
