Overview
About Me
I'm 21 years old. I have moved quite a bit throughout the United States in the past 4 years. I have just really been exploring what is out there in my country and seeing how everyone lives in different parts. I have been scuba diving for 11 years and it is my passion, well anything that has to do with the ocean really is my passion. I love to learn about new cultures and see and meet new people. One of my life goals is to say that I have truly seen the world and not just traveled a few times in Europe or Asia I mean REALLY seen every part of the world. I CRAVE adventure and am very very very adaptable and I go with the flow. I like to have a rough plan put together as far as what the general objective is that I want to accomplish but beyond that I just go where life takes me. I am very laid back and extremely out going. I can pretty much make friends with anyone anywhere.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The reason why I am couch surfing is a very complicated question with a rather simple answer, I'm doing this (or rather wanting to start to do this) to find out who I am. I know it sounds super cheesy, but I find peace and happiness when I'm traveling and there is just a sense of freedom that has an indescribable feeling. I have had many jobs where I am miserable and absolutely hate my job. I have had jobs where its all about the money and making more for someone else and pushing products on people that don't even need them and that is just not me. I feel very fortunate that I have learned this life lesson at such a young age. I can't do "normal" life. By that I mean I can't go to work and sit in a cubical from 9-5 and do mind numbing pointless work. I get bored after about a year or two of anyplace even if I love my job. So I have kind of put together all of these thoughts and goals and decided that I'm going to quite my job and just travel and figure life out as I go.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music is nearly impossible to narrow down because I listen to everything from blues to country to electronic and rock. If I had to pick a genre I would say country. My favorite book is the Power of Now by Eckart Tolle. That book is what opened my mind to a whole new way of living my life and what really started my adventure.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One really cool thing I have done was a dive I went on in the Bahamas. There is a sink hole in the middle of the Caribbean ocean around 100 ft across and probably 200 ft in depth. So the dive started out around 100 yards from the hole itself and as I got closer to the hole I could start to see just a black abyss. Once I was over where the sink hole was there was nothing but sharks around me. I descended to around 100 feet and was just engulfed with hundreds and hundreds of silky sharks. I guess I was lucky and we made it to the hole during a point in their migration where they all met up at that hole I guess. I'm not to sure on the science behind it but it was so much fun. Just everywhere I looked above, below and every side where hundreds of sharks swimming clockwise around the sink hole. It was a very surreal experience.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am willing to do chores and help out in any way I am asked to do. I know may not be an expert on one particular thing but I sure do know a little about everything and my eagerness to help people and ability to do anything and put others first really makes me who I am.
