Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I use Couchsurfing because it is a great way to travel the world and meet interesting people. I want to be more than the typical tourist and CouchSurfing makes this possible.

Interests

I like a lot of things including swimming and waterpolo (I'm currently on a swim team!), learning languages, meeting new people, traveling, and of course eating new foods. I also like to talk about business, politics, government, ethics, and the intersection of all of those things.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all types of music including pop, rap, alternative, and even COUNTRY WESTERN. I don't really like heavy metal, but it doesn't bother me.

I'm always up for a good laugh, so when it comes to movies I stick to comedies. I can also enjoy a good action films. If I somehow end up watching a horror film I will need a pillow to cover my eyes during the scary parts XD

I've just started getting into reading a little more now that I have some free time. I try to alternate between fiction and nonfiction books. Right now I'm reading about social justice in the United States.

I'm not a master chef, but I do know how to make a limited number of dishes decently including lentejas, stir-fries, and omelettes.
