I grew up in Oakville, ON and also lived in Bali, Indonesia on and off for as long as I can remember. I initially went to uni for film, but graduated with a bio degree. Worked on using drones for farming out in the sticks for a bit while living on an organic farm. Then quit my job and headed west, hitchhiking/ridesharing my way to vancouver island. Stayed there for a bit working odd jobs before heading back to live in Toronto. Now I've just moved to Montreal, working on picking up my french and guitar!

Interests

I love hiking, going on adventures and bonfires. I love to read, write and I'm learning how to draw / play guitar. Admittedly, I read mostly non-fiction books, though I break into fiction every now and then too. I'm interested in everything from economics, politics, any of the physical, social or computer sciences to things like spirituality, chinese medicine, qigong, yoga and sports (go Leafs, TFC, Raptors, Jays!). I love to meet people when I travel; In my mind, I travel in order to meet people more than I travel to see places. Also, I love to go to used bookstores and I'm currenly doing some research experiments on mycorrhizal fungi / building an online scientific forum.

I once hitchhiked from Toronto to Halifax in the middle of February! Was chased by a winter storm the entire way, but I think I came out on top.
