I bike, fly fish, rock climb, and just generally feel most at home outside. I am currently living in Boulder, Colorado and working as a bike mechanic.

I really like bikes. I am mostly a mountain biker, but am also very interested in cyclocross rides/races and dirt-touring! I work as a professional bike mechanic and commute to work by bike as well. Bikes make up a significant portion of my day, every day.

On my days off, I also enjoy Fly fishing, rock climbing, and trying to stay busy in the mountains in the winter.

When I can't be outside, I really like reading and listening to music. I am always interested in finding new books and albums to listen to, and I love hearing about what kinds of authors and musical genres other people are interested in.

In undergrad, I studied Philosophy with a focus on Environmental Ethics. I am very interested in public lands, environmental stewardship, and talking about current issues in applied ethics!

I currently live in Boulder, Colorado. In the past I have lived in Northwest Arkansas and the Bay Area, California. My roommate (another outdoors-person) live in a small apartment with a couch and plenty of floor space available to guests.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have made some great friends and acquaintances through couchsurfing in the past. I would like to host more visitors, meet some new people, or even just provide a safe place to sleep for someone in need.

I would also hope to be able to cash in on this karma when I travel, as well; which is something I am trying to do more of! There are a few regions in the country I haven't been to, and I would like to fill in those gaps! I have never been to the coastal southeast, wyoming/montana area, or spent much time in the northeast and atlantic seaboard. Someday I would also like to travel internationally.
