About Me

I'm living with my friend and fellow YouTuber Dan in Toronto. We've just moved into this place and we have got a futon for guests but so far no one's stayed on it. I work for a solar company selling solar panels so my schedule is pretty sporadic. Both Dan and I have Couchsurfed a couple of times and would now like to try hosting!

CURRENT MISSION

My friend and I are filming a YouTube series about travelling and living with a disability (he's blind) called Three Points of Contact. We want to show people that anyone can travel even if you have a disability.

ABOUT ME

I was born in Tortola, British Virgin Islands and raised on the west coast of Canada. I caught the travel bug after I went backpacking through Europe by myself at 19.
I love talking and learning from people; every single person knows something you don't.

PHILOSOPHY

"What we fear most is usually what we most need to do."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't have much experience yet but I really want to use Couchsurfing to meet people and learn about their country and culture from the inside.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My friend and I Couchsurfed a couple of times on our most recent trip and went to several meetups

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm open to most kinds of music but I especially love Blues and Rock. Recently, I've been getting into jazz too

I mostly read non-fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Aya Sophia, Ephesus and the Skojan Caves in Slovenia top my list of amazing things I've seen.

I accidentally went went para sailing in Turkey and once got stuck in a malfunctioning, automated toilet in France... It was a concerning experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm an accomplished guitar player so I'd be happy to help anyone out who wants to learn. If you play an instrument I'd love to hear it and learn from you.

I love learning about cultures, food, religions (though I'm not religious myself).
