About Me

I'm just working and making my way through life trying to learn and experience as much as possible along the way. In January of 2014 I took my first trip overseas, and stayed with quite a few hosts on CS. I had an amazing time and saw Ireland, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, France, and Spain! I had such a positive experience that I would love to give back the kindness I received by hosting other travelers here in Tampa, FL!

I returned to the EU in December of 2014 and saw a few new countries as well as some that I had visited on my first adventure! I spent a great deal of my month abroad in Scandanavia this time around seeing Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark as well as returning to Spain, Belgium, and Holland for a quick visit :)

The following year, I spent 3 weeks traveling through Europe, adding Hungary and Poland to my list of countries explored, as well as revisiting a few favorites before flying to Thailand to spend 2 weeks backpacking through the country.

During my time in Thailand, I tried scuba diving, and fell in love immediately! I returned for the summer of 2016 to spend 4 months scuba diving every day, and training to become a Divemaster. I also spent 2 weeks during that summer backpacking through Myanmar.

After returning home to school for a few semesters, I left for Thailand again and became a diving instructor, then spent the summer of 2017 working and teaching people to dive while living in paradise! I'm back now for school, but I will be moving to Thailand in August of 2018 for a year or two, or....

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As of now, I have stayed with quite a few hosts throughout Europe and now that I am back home I would like to host as many travelers as possible. I have hosted a few surfers so far, and that has only reinforced my passion for meeting new people and learning about new cultures! My whole world has changed through my travels, and I feel that meeting as many people as I am able to and getting to understand where they come from and learning from their perspectives is the most rewarding experience in life :)

I have stayed with other couchsurfers in Ireland, Belgium, Holland, Germany, and France. I had an amazing time with all of my hosts and would love to find a few more friends on my next trip! I have hosted a few surfers of my own so far, and I had an excellent time accommodating them :) I am looking forward to future connections to come, and hope to see you soon!
