About Me

Hey I'm a Tyler a native Californian now living in the northwest just outside of Portland. My calling in life is to travel and see the world and I'm finally now able to start doing it! I'll be in Europe from mid October through mid December and I'm definitely looking forward to having some amazing experiences and meeting some great people. First few weeks will be spent in London with family and then on to wherever my heart takes me. Oh and I love sports... Go Bay Area! And arsenal😀 music is a huge passion of mine... Punk and metal!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to make new friends through couchsurfing as well as saving money on lodging. Haha that counts for something! But getting in contact with a local through couchsurfing will no doubt make my experience in a place better through learning about the place from that persons local knowledge.

Interests

Travel is everything to me... Love sports as well. San Franciso 49ers and Giants. San Jose Sharks and of course the champion Golden State Warriors. Music is huge for me also.... I probably listen to 3 or more hours of music everyday. And I'm a big beer lover. While in Europe I'm looking forward to trying many new brews and styles different than those in America!

Music, Movies, and Books

Green Day would be my number 1.... Then blink 182. The Offspring, Rancid, Sum 41 and AFI. Rise Against. And then metal as I got a little older... Metallica, Amon Amarth, Children Of Bodom,Opeth. Too many to name! Ace Ventura without a doubt is my favorite movie ever. But of late it seems all of the classic Denzel Washington movies are what I appreciate. Can't forget that I'm a James Bond nerd😛

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well I got to see Neil Young from the front row in San Francisco at a festival with 70,000 people there. So that was an accomplishment! Haha

What I Can Share with Hosts

A good time! I look forward to swapping travel stories and learning about new places with my fellow travelers over a beer or glass of wine. Whatever is best!

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, England, France, Haiti, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Puerto Rico, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Martin (French part), Wales
