ABOUT ME

I was born in Bethel Alaska, moved to Homer when I was 3, and have lived here since. I've had a lot of opportunity to travel with my family, I've spent two and a half years abroad in over 40 countries, lived for 9 months in India, 9 months in Armenia, and 5 months in France. My hobbies/passions include jewelry making, basketry, sewing, knitting, and other such crafts and I am very into dance, especially tango and swing dance. I am now attending the University of Oregon but before I return for my third year I am going to spend a month around Europe. It will be my first travel experience on my own.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only just now signed up at this website, but my family has been hosting travelers in our house for years. over my life we have hosted 5 exchange students for a year at a time, and many other travelers and friends of friends who are visiting alaska and looking for a place to stay.

lived in india, met the dahli lama, volunteered with tibetan refugees in the Himalayas, seen about five of the seven wonders of the ancient world before I was 10 years old,climbed a glacier last week...I'll put more up if I can think of anything.
