About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I aim to make the world a better place through music and laughter!

ABOUT ME

I am a recent University graduate, who is currently doing intern teaching at UWC-Atlantic. I love to travel and experience new cultures and people. I love to read, sing, act, and laugh. I have been told that I have a magnetic personality, that people are drawn to me. I'm not sure I believe it, but there's that for you.

PHILOSOPHY

I want to live my life to the fullest, while impacting people in a positive way. I try to spread joy and laughter wherever I go. I hope to use music as a tool to better people's lives in a meaningful way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have yet to host, or be hosted, but I am looking forward to the firsts for both of those!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not had any couch surfing experience, to date, but am looking forward to starting!

Interests

I enjoy both music and theatre. I am studying to become a choral conductor. I love tea and coffee, reading, Dr. Who, Sherlock (both the books/stories and the BBC mini-series), music, musical theatre, and travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

Musical theatre, symphonies, classical music, choral music. I love reading all sorts of books, both fiction and non-fiction. Favorite authors include: Neil Gaiman, Orson Scott Card (though I don't agree with his political views), and Jasper Fforde.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was chosen as a semi-finalist in the American Choral Directors Association's Conducting Competition, Undergraduate division 2013.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would be able to share knowledge about choral music and conducting, as well as musical theatre (particularly contemporary American.) I have done courses in music and theatre history, so I have this knowledge, as well. I would love to learn to speak more languages and always love learning to cook new foods!
