My mission is to learn all I can from the world around me and explore it with audacity.

ABOUT ME

I am from Grand Rapids, Michigan USA. I study marketing and International Business at Grand Valley State University. I recently decided to expand my cultural and business knowledge, and this decision took me to Europe. I have been studying in the Czech Republic for the past three months. While here I have also been traveling and backpacking to other countries such as Hungary, Germany, Slovakia, the United Kingdom, and Spain. I not be more happy. I have learned so much.

I have not couchsurfed yet, but I plan to on my upcoming trip to Germany, France, Netherlands, and Poland. I really can't wait.

Interests

I am a big lover of water sports. I am on a waterski and wakeboard team at my home university. I also love anything that involves the outdoors such as camping, hammocking, hiking, biking, and most anything else that involves nature. I am also quite a big fan of music and sports.

I listen to any kind of music really but amoung my favorites are John Mayer, Maroon 5, Jack Johnson, Michael Buble.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent one week hiking the Coasta Brava in Spain. It was the best week of my life. I went with 3 friends. Two from home and one from the Netherlands. We started in Girona and Hiked north. We slept in hammocks every night. We had campfires on cliffs above the sea and cliff jumped as well. By far the best experience of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I really enjoy meeting anyone who is willing to talk and share their stories with me. There's really nothing I love more than meeting outgoing, friendly people who are willing to swap stories.
