About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm DEFINITELY going on a 'Round The World' Trip for the entire year of 2010.

I'm one of a kind, but I don't think thats a very good poker hand.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed a few couches in my day and hosted a few surfers...and its been nothing but good experiences.

Interests

Whatever my obsession of the moment is. Literature. Art. Film. Music. Laughter, and lots of it. Traveling. Paris in the 1920s. New York before Guiliani turned it into Disneyland. Obscure literary and historical figures from across the ages. Writing encyclopedic novels. Wikipedia. Google Reader. Trivia. Mad Libs. Conspiracy Theories. Dancing. Scrabble. Libraries - especially Bobst and Butler. Balderdash. Chipotle. Making up terrible Jane Fonda jokes. Insomnia. Ultimate Frisbee. Anything that doesn't involve boredom.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a 3 month roadtrip through all the 48 continental United States with my friend. We couchsurfed a little bit, but mostly we manned up and just slept in the back of my gutted van.

Besides seeing all the famous tourist must-sees (like Mt. Rushmore, Niagara Falls, and the Alamo) and the classic roadside attractions (like the biggest ball of twine and the world's largest easel), my proudest moment was going miniature golfing in a funeral home outside of Chicago. Yeah, you read that right: MINI GOLFING in a FUNERAL HOME...and it was FREEEE!!! I know, right, CRAZY!!!??!?!

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been told I have a VERY strange "knowledge set."

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Czech Republic, United States
