About Me

I'm studying Graphic Design & Advertising at Drake University. If I could live out of my suitcase and get paid, that would be my dream job.

Just finished a semester abroad in Barcelona, Spain at the UAB. Currently traveling around for a month before I start my internship in Berlin, Germany.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm currently spending seven months in Europe (studying abroad in Barcelona, Spain and then interning in Berlin, Germany). I love meeting new people and getting to know new cities through a native's perspective.

My mom has been a member of couchsurfing for about six years and I have helped host people as well as be hosted.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all types of music except for heavy metal/screamo and gospel. Current favorites right now include: Maroon 5, Paradise Fears, Owl City, and The Beatles.

Action movies and classic Disney movies are my favorite. Movies I can watch on repeat: Iron Man, Toy Story, Catching Fire, Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince, Easy A

I'm a book worm and thanks to Overdrive I constantly have a book with me. Favorites include: the Harry Potter series, anything by Laurie Halse Anderson (specifically Twisted), John Green (specifically Paper Towns), Anthony Horowitz, and The Hunger Games Trilogy. I recently became addicted to Dan Brown's books, I just can't put them down. Currently starting Inferno, I loved both Angels & Demons, and The Da Vinci Code.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was a student ambassador (through People to People), I climbed the Great Wall of China- the views were breathtaking.

Teach, Learn, Share

I tend to spout random facts about art & architecture, and I love learning new things on a daily basis. For my age, I have been fortunate to travel a lot and love sharing highlights of places I have been (especially if they are off the beaten path and not usually found by tourists).

Countries I’ve Visited

Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Italy, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Scotland, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United States, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In

England, Spain, United States
