About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Do all the things.

ABOUT ME

In a nutshell I (and others probably) would say I'm friendly, open, easy going, and I laugh easily.

I like being active and doing things with people.

I'm an engineer who's lucky to work at a company that periodically sends me all over the world.

PHILOSOPHY

To say "Yes!"

Find appreciation in the little things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm new to CS but the more I look around the more I realize that this is exactly what I've been looking for. I absolutely love travelling, but purely sightseeing is not what I want to do. My favourite travel experiences have been ones where I have been lucky enough to meet local people and experience their cities and cultures from their perspective.

Going for drinks in hole-in-the-wall pubs in Brazil to share stories, cultures, and laughs. Meeting servers in a tiny family-run restaurant in a nowhere town in northern Japan leading to an adventure finding Cranes in the wild! These are things that I travel for. Adventures and people build memories and bonds that tourist attractions simply can't.

Interests

Dancing. I know swing dance. I've learned some Forro, Salsa, and Samba. I always want to learn new dances! I also enjoy dancing to EDM at clubs or otherwise.

Ultimate Frisbee, Yoga, Aerial Silks (like in the circus).

Board Games (Catan, Masquerade, CAH, many more). I love games.

Singing, Live Music (play me music if you play!), Brewing Beer.

New experiences. Adventures. Socializing.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach me new dances or help me improve my singing :)

Teach me about your culture and language. Tell me interesting science/engineering/architectural/historical facts about places and things.

I know how to swing dance, I can teach you some if you'd like. I speak English... like many. I'm also very used to speaking to people learning English as a second language. So I'd be more than happy to help you learn if you need or want. Could also show you how to throw a Frisbee well :)

What I Can Share with Hosts
