About Me

What's up, Couchsurfing!

I'm a 27 year old American catching up on a couple years of 'holiday' and gap years I never took when I was younger.

I'm an entrepreneur and educator by trade. I've started and been a part of a few companies, and I'm in the process of deciding what that "next big thing" is going to be.

I love whiskey (big bourbon fan, but getting more and more into Scotches now), I play soccer, and electronic, 90's hip hop, soul, and classic rock is what comes out of my headphones. Also a big history buff and a nerd at heart, so I love taking tours, walking through museums, etc.

I've been to 12 countries since high school, and I'm looking to double that number by the time we hit 2018. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was skeptical about Couchsurfing at first, but after doing my research and talking to some friends who have both surfed and hosted themselves, I'm convinced that it's worth a shot.

Being on a budget also helps. :) So, here I am, giving it a go!

Music, Movies, and Books

90s hip hop, electronic music, classic rock, and soul (i.e. Motown, Stax, etc.) are almost always playing. Love the late 60s British Invasion stuff and American 70s rock as well.

Movie wise, I'm a big fan of anything post-apocalyptic, dystopian, or thrillers and comedy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Eaten a fried silk worm in China. (Won't ever do it again.)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Experience, stories, and knowledge. I'm a huge believer in learning and doing by experience. I'm about 98% confident we could have an awesome conversation about something you and/or I have done.

Also, if you're an entrepreneur or have something you're thinking about starting or doing, I'm your guy. :)

Countries I’ve Visited

China, Dominican Republic, England, Ireland, Italy, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, Wales
