About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel the world, meet people of every culture. Expand my mind to its fullest.

ABOUT ME

I am a video game developer, and run a game development company based in Austin, TX.
Travelling has always been a passion of mine, and I prefer to meet locals and see culture first hand over staying in a hotel.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
We don't host people that are moving to Austin. We've had negative experiences in the past and will not host someone who is using us as a temporary housing solution.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is experiences. Make as many as possible to fully absorb what life has to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed across the US quite a bit, and have always wanted to host. Due to my previously remote location, it was rare to find a surfer, but I plan on becoming more active in the local community now that I live in a fun city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed from Maryland to Phoenix, Arizona in August 2009 with a friend. It was a great experience, and I had a wonderful time with every host we had along the way. I've also surfed in San Fran, and stayed with a few friends in Seattle.

Couch surfed while traveling through Europe in 2013.

Interests

Games, nature, photography, hiking, music, art, writing, and so many more.
I really enjoy meeting new people and sharing experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently visited Chernobyl while in Kiev. It was quite an experience, hard to put to words.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love meeting people with hobbies and interests different from my own. The point of Couchsurfing is to meet new people and experience differences, so I believe its crucial to get outside of your comfort zone when surfing/hosting.
