ABOUT ME

i'm random. i'm sarcastic. i'm from new orleans, what can you expect? i say yall, and i can't stop. i travel as often as possible. (that's a lie or i would ALWAYS be traveling, but i go out of my way to travel...a lot.) i'm honest, maybe too much so. i like outdoors. i like live music (with the exception of some heavy metal and most rap.) i REALLY like live music outdoors. new orleans jazz fest is home to me. that, the beach, and the mountains are really the only places that still provide a sense of home to me at all.

i write. i really like to write. one day, maybe i'll start a career with it. i doubt it, but maybe. the same thing goes for painting.

i speak honestly, and i listen; many people do, but i'm not sure how natural it is for everyone or how honestly they do it. i went into psychology for the same reason most people do - to figure out myself and those around me, to figure out the human brain/human behavior. i found out that it's way more complicated than i thought, and it's a lifelong journey/process. and, maybe it doesn't have to be so complicated? i'm working on marrying that idea with my overactive analyzing mind.

shall i go on? ... nah...

oh yeah, i talk to myself. often.

PHILOSOPHY

love. just love. if you can do that well, you've pretty much got this whole life thing down.

smile. a lot. throw a few laughs in there, and it all becomes less serious...

careful thought inhibits the passionate soul. i am working on not thinking quite so much. the mind controls the body already, no need to exert it further.

change your mind as often as you'd like. just remember why.
