About Me

I wrote this introduction almost 8 years ago. I just didn't bother to write a new one through all these years, but all in all, it pretty much sums it up nowadays, too.

ABOUT ME

I'm a changer.

I used to love these 'about me' sections. Now, all i can think of is the line above. I don't want to box myself up like butter, and stick labels on me. Nowadays my life is more about stressing my borders. Finding out who i am before making up a definition of 'me'. It's a pretty amazing feeling to throw out everything you thought you were. I feel free.

I love to meet new friends. And reconnect with the old ones. I love writing letters. Getting mail. When people send me poetry near the letter. Postcards. I read really a lot. Also write a lot, letters and diary.

I love walking barefoot and hugging trees. Discovering new, cool music. Autumn. Never-ending summer evenings. Talking with someone for 5 minutes and feeling that you two have known each other for ages. Floral dresses. Cuddling up on my bed with a warm blanket and a cup of tea when outside is raining and watching three cute 'atmosphere' (mostly love) movies in a row. Talking about serious stuff. About silly things. Discussing philosophy. Handwriting. Traveling. I'm writing a list of 1000 things that make me happy.

Sometimes I can be very talkative and outgoing and sometimes I like to be quiet and just watch the world spinning around me.

PHILOSOPHY

What i really believe in, is that all in all, life is pretty amazing today. And every day. I observe beauty in the hidden places. All the little things most people forget about. Like finding a chestnut on the road. The smell of the rain. Drawing on steamed mirrors.
I fall in love with life more and more each day. I don't think I'll ever get used to this magic called life. It's just too amazing to take it for granted!

“Just living is not enough... One must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower.” - Hans Christian Andersen

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a fair amount of movies, music and books I enjoy. :-)

As I read a lot, about 70-80 books per year, there are many books I really liked and had an affect on me. I'll mention one: Isla Dewar - The Woman Who Painted Her Dreams. That's The Book for me.

I don't have a favourite music style, nor a favourite band. I like happy music, that makes me happy and jump up and down, regardless genre or anything else. I also like 'atmosphere' music, which make your heart grow and feel a little sad and melancholic at the same time.

About movies. I have two all-time favourites: Into The Wild and Revolutionary Roads. But in general I love romantic comedies, and dramas. There always may be exceptions, of course. :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I walked El Camino de Santiago and it was the most life-changing thing ever. No words for it.

I'm an ex hard-core meateater turned into vegan in November 2016. The best decision I've ever took.

The drama camp that turned all my life upside down, gave me a wave of energy i still feel after one and a half years and that made summer of '09 never-ending.

I've been to the geometrical center of Europe. :)

My first hitchhiking trip to Bulgaria with my brother.

And yeah, it may sound cheesy, but I've lost my heart in Paris. That city is definitely one amazing 'thing' I've seen.
