ABOUT ME

Hi there!
I am 25 years old and I am french. I have been studying in France and in a business school. I am living in Geneva with my boyfriend Vincent and our lovely kitten.
We both work in FMCG companies, working a lot but enjoying our job, loving to see our friends for afterworks or dinners and looking after our cat called Martine McFly (yes, this is refering to "Back to the future" :)

PHILOSOPHY

I am a very social and talkative person, I like to meet new people, especially from different nationalities and cultures. I always loved going abroad and this is why I did a part of my studies abroad (but still in Europe though). My personal philosophy is to always "grow up" thanks to people you have around you, old friends or people you have just met!
I also believe in the following quote from Oscar Wilde:
"Always shoot for the moon, even if you fail, you will land among the stars"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have been traveling a lot in 2013, before starting to work, and we enjoyed to couch surf and meet a lot of people. We even made few friends we would looove to see again and are still in touch with. So, definitely, this is the kind of experience that we would prefer to have with people who would stay at our place.
That being said, we definitely understand if you just want to be independant and sleep at our place without hanging out with us. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love several kinds of music and this can even sounds ridiculous! I am able to enjoy as much Britney Spears as Ray Charles! I must admit my favourite style of music would be the soul music: not only Ray Charles but also Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, and so many others!

I am not allowing enough time to readin and I can't even remember what was the last book I read (I am not proud of it!). But what I can say is that I really loved the whole Harry Potter saga, the Da Vinci Code, Angels & Demons, some of Harlan Coben's books, and so many others...

Regarding my taste for movies, well, I am again not very proud of it! My boyfrind is always mocking me because I like girly movies! Which is true, but not only. For instance, my favourite movie is Amelie! I can also say that I did not like Fight Club, in opposition to 99.9% of the population! ;-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Even if not amazing, these are the most intense/inspiring/exciting experiences I have had in my life:
- Diving in the Indian Ocean among colorful fishes (fortunately, any shark seen!)
- Hiking & experiencing a (very small) earthquake on the Cirque de Mafate (caldera) in La Réunion (Island in the Indian Ocean) - this place is only accessible by hiking or with an helicopter!
- Living 2 years in Bordeaux (France) for my studies
- Going out all night in Budapest (Hungary)
- Having a little brother at the age of 17 and being his second mum
- being part of a band
- Singing on stage in front of 500 people
- Doing a 5-month road-trip in North America with my boyfriend

Teach, Learn, Share

My boyfriend and I can obviously teach French language! :)

I can also teach a bit of belly dance which I practiced 2 years.
Not sure I can teach it properly but I LOVE to sing, I used to sing in several bands few years ago. I love music in general and I also play a bit of guitar. This would be great to share music with hosts and guests!

Finally, I learned a bit of salsa dance so I am not good enough to teach it but I love to dance it!

I have been taking photography lessons recently and I am very passionate! I would love to learn tips from good photographers!
