I first joined couch surfing in August 2010 when I moved to Prague to teach English for a year. That one year turned into three before I moved to Maryland. Five years later, I moved to Tokyo. Throughout my adult life I've seen many beautiful places and I love meeting people from the places I'll go in the future.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I lived in Prague, I loved hosting people and love surfed when I traveled. I moved to Tokyo in May 2018. I don't surf very often anymore but I still love meeting people from allover the world to hear people's life and travel stories.

Interests

We only get about 100 years on earth. If you ask me, we owe it to ourselves to explore, meet new people and have adventures in places near and far. I love trying new things, meeting new people, and hearing their life stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all music with the exception of rap music. Between all the vulgarity and cursing, I can never really figure out what they're saying.

When it comes to movies and books I want something that will MAKE ME THINK! If my brain can't wander thinking about what the writer REALLY meant, I don't care to read it or watch it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed the Great Wall of China in 2007!

I accidentally crawled under a grave in the Cotswalds.

I talked to Michelangelo's David....he said that he was naked and cold.
