About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel where I can, when I can.

ABOUT ME

I'm an introvert, but I love meeting new people and learning about other cultures. I love food, and I will try (almost) anything at least once. Most of my most memorable experiences are those that have taken place while travelling outside my comfort zone. I've met some really cool people throughout the world, many of whom I now call good friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love almost all types of music, including salsa, jazz, blues, classical, reggaeton, vallenato, cumbia, folk, etc. My favorite that really speaks to me is bluegrass. Favorite musicians and bands include: Alison Krauss & Union Station, Caedmon's Call, Ralph Stanley, Bill Monroe, Freshly Ground, Blue Highway, Fonseca, Celia Cruz, and many more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sunrise on an overnight ferry in the Philippines; snorkeling with penguins, sea lions, and sea turtles in the Galapagos; watching sea turtles lay their eggs on a beach in Ostional, Costa Rica; lying on a beach in Bocas del Toro, Panama; hiking through the Blue Mountains, Australia; taking a scenic train trip through New Zealand' north island; and many more.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know most of central and north Georgia pretty well. I grew up in the central part of the state.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Ireland, Mexico, New Zealand, Panama, Peru, Philippines
