About Me
I'm an outgoing, fun loving Aussie who is moving to the UK with my wife for a new adventure in 2016!
I've spent the last 10 years in Adelaide, Australia studying and working. I have a Masters of Teaching (Middle School & Secondary), but for the last 5 years I've been managing a travel agency for backpackers. I've met some amazing people over the years, many of which have been couchsurfing, so I thought it might be a great experience for us to try.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people, make friends, and see a different side to the world! I consider myself a very easy person to talk to, and I try to get on with everyone, so I would love to make many friends all over the world.
Interests
Meeting new people and travelling to new locations of course!
I'm also a drummer, and don't mind gadgets and technology also.
I love trying new foods, and there is no cuisine I don't tend to enjoy.
- cooking
- technology
- traveling
- drums
- hiking
- spelunking
- scuba diving
Music, Movies, and Books
All music, all books!
I listen to music from The Beatles to Slipknot. Honestly, I'm happy to listen to anything and appreciate good music no matter the genre.
Favourite movies would have to be anything nerdy, so Star Wars, The Avengers, or anything Sci-fi is my jam!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've gone Bungy jumping, White Water Rafting, Diving, Caving, Glacier Hiking and more. I'm not an overly adventure seeking person, but when such activities are presented to me I normally don't turn them down! You only live once!
Teach, Learn, Share
We love to cook new things, and to share stories!
I can teach you to play the drums.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A laugh and a good chat. Plus I'm knowledgable on travel in Australia, NZ, and South East Asia due to my travel agency work, so pick my brain!
