About Me

Over the next few months I can't travel too much due to work commitments so i figure I will bring some travel to me.

I'm a kind person and like doing things to help others, but only those that deserve it. I'm not an amazingly spiritual fellow or anything like that, but I'm a big believer in treating others as you would like to be treated. I don't take myself too seriously and can have a laugh at pretty much any situation.

I've traveled a little bit myself - never enough though, and never Couch Surfing - and love hearing of other people's travels and adventures. I'll probably bug you a bit with questions about where you've been and try to get any travel tips out of you that you may have haha.

I have heaps of great friends but would love to meet new people from around the world. I think it will open my mind and give me a greater appreciation of the world outside of mine. It would also be satisfying to know that I've helped others with their travels and helped them see more of the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have a house with spare rooms that aren't getting used much - so why not?

I'm travelling later in the year and plan on using Couch Surfing so i would like to give some back before I go and get a feel for how it all works. It's also a different way to travel that i haven't tried before.

Hosting people will give me a different perspective on life and allow me to experience a bit of another culture without leaving home.

When i surf myself i think it will give me a deeper experience of a place than other forms of travel and allow me to really see how other parts of the world live.

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything. I like a bit of electronic, rock, popular, alternative, all sorts. Love going to festivals during the summer months.
Currently reading a couple of books - tend to stick to non-fiction and don't enjoy the fantasy stuff so much

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Plenty haha. I've done too many crazy things. One of my favorites would have to be the 4 day trek up to Machu Picchu - a bit common and not that crazy - but an experience that will be hard to match

Teach, Learn, Share

Would be a bonus if you can teach me some Spanish as I'm currently trying to learn. Or to cook some foreign dishes, or to surf? Soon, I may be able to teach you!
