About Me

***Due to an overwhelming number of requests from awesome people - my place is booked pretty solid until October 2017. Best of luck in your searches and travels and please feel free to drop me a line when you're in town. Thanks for all your wonderful requests!!!

Note: there's a few sporadic one off nights here and there. If you're in a jam and an experienced surfer that's in need - I'll always try to help out.***

CURRENT MISSION:

To carve out a wonderful journey through this beautiful life and help others along the way.

ABOUT ME:

A business fella by day and musician by night. I've been a member of CS since 2005 and have had many a surfer crash on whatever floor, couch, bail of hay or bed was available. Though I've fallen off the scene over the past few years since moving to Halifax NS - I'm happy to be back!

I believe in complete equalism or 'humanism' and living without judgement - it's a pretty simple concept! It doesn't matter someone's gender, race, religion, sexual identity...we're all equal inside. Mind has no gender. I attempt to embrace the idea that we are all just people.

Constantly looking to explore and be inspired!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As an open minded individual, I enjoy meeting anyone and everyone. Taking in local culture - as a local - and adapting to each unique environment this beautiful world has to offer.
Like most, I enjoy travelling but I'm personally not a huge fan of commercial hotels. It's easy to appreciate their architectural beauty, clean towels and hot water but you can stay in a hotel anywhere! With CS you get to meet new people, experience new culture and live within their ecosystems first hand. Plus, it's simply good karma to share!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Plenty...and not being able to remember most of them is wonderful!

Volcano boarding in Leon. Swimming amongst Sea Turtles. Dancing and singing with Mardi Gras Indians. Dog sledding in Quebec.

Recently:
Paying for a strangers breakfast -unknowingly to them - because it seemed like they were having a bad day. He started talking openly and sharing very negative stories while I politely listened and finished my meal. Silently taking care of his bill in hopes that a kind gesture might restore some of his positive vibes seemed like the thing to do. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Stories, a wonderful dog, a house with a spare couch or bedroom with soft sheets. No promise the dog won't try to lick your mouth and breakfast isn't always guaranteed but you'll get the run of the house and there's a few close diners.
