ABOUT ME

I am very DIY and hands-on, and seek purpose in everything I do. I constantly work to find a balance between making things happen and letting them happen.

I hold much gratitude for everyone I have come in contact with that goes out of their way to be kind to me and share something of theirs. I only wish to give back and pass along this kindness.

I enjoy attending events, seeing live music and meeting new people from different places and cultures. I'm generally an optimist. I try to play music but am better at listening and sharing it. I keep a journal of my experiences and try to write in it when I can, otherwise I'll forget the nuances that are the most interesting to look back and meditate on. I'm an analog photographer that takes less pictures than I should.

When I have a place to offer others, I am more than happy to do so. When others are kind enough to help me when I need a place to stay, I am more than happy to contribute positively to their lives in any way I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed couches quite a bit under many different circumstances, and have had great experiences I wouldn't trade for anything, including friendships that have stretched decades.

Interests

Appreciating and making music, watching documentaries, 35mm photography, reading sci-fi, hiking outdoors, writing when I feel inspired, forcing myself to write when I feel lethargic, learning and practicing languages, meeting new people.
