ABOUT ME

I am a Malaysian studying in Singapore and ethnically a chinese!! (sounds confusing aye?) I love my country Malaysia because it is a melting pot (50 years ago) where all the races from China, India and Malay peninsula mixed. A place indeed rich in its own mixture of culture and FOOD! Yes!! I enjoy good food - be it German, Czech, Chinese, Malay, Indian, Thai, Japanese, Korean cuisine....(gosh, I couldn't name all the good food I had!) and I love cooking~

I am always in a good mood and like to smile a lot, this always give people the impression that I'm friendly and an easy-going guy. Yes, I'm quite open-minded! Besides, I speak good English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Malay, and abit of German. So no matter who you are or where you came from, communication is not a problem. I like CS because it gives me opportunities to meet up with new people, to know the local cultures and stories!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in Grace and Mercy that bring forgiveness and hope. Salvation is by Grace through faith in Christ alone. =)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was introduced to CS before I came to exchange. To be honest, I actually joined my friend for my first CS (she did all the sourcing), but immediately fell in love with the experience CS provides.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have been hosted SEVEN times, in Dublin, London, Berlin, Cologne, Hamburg, Amsterdam and Paris! Totally love the experiences my hosts provided - I get to taste local home cook food, to know the local stories and cultures and most importantly I get to know people!
