About Me

CURRENT MISSION

-Visit Hong Kong and then Australia, there start the search for answers to the question: Which education/career/thingy do I want to pursue/try out in order to achieve my two goals of being happy and doing good?

-Become incredibly productive

-The larger picture: I assume humanity has the potential to solve any of its problems, if we a) don't fight each other, and b) collaborate effectively. So I'd like to work there, becoming an expert in conflict solving, human motivation, productivity and collaboration, including the psychological knowledge needed therefore. I'd love to be the guy who's asked to give psychological support during the current negotiations between.. say Israel and Palestine.

ABOUT ME
I like conversations about wisdom, politics and knowledge, because there people reveal things about themselves, and human connection happens. My twinbrother and I have organised "Intellectual Meetings" where we speak in a small group about stuff like David Foster Wallace's "This is Water"-Speech or Thinking Fast and Thinking Slow by Daniel Kahnemann.
Thinking about philosophy, death and always makes me calm and accepting, and I enjoy that state of being. It's the opposite of how I feel when I am stressed about things that I am not getting done.
Sudden understanding of a phenomenon, connecting two knowledge-dots gives me pleasure.

-I spent an exchange year in Adelaide, Australia.
-Once a month I give 1% of however much is on my bank account to charity, namely one that works on ending mass animal husbandry by advancing the scientific progress of Invitro Meat.

I have a problem with the dull reciting of aphorisms like "Enjoy the moment". I frequently forget that only something like a big story you have in the back of you head gives those words meaning.

I want to be that humorous, extroverted and warm-hearted guy. I believe what gets in my way is too much worrying about how others actually care in detail about what i say, do, and so on, and what negative thoughts i then have about me.

PHILOSOPHY
- I can improve anything, if it needs to. You'll find me having self-improvement thoughts about most parts of my life... say Diet( EPA and DHA from fish oil improve mood hehe), Running (minimize vertical movement, breathe in through nose AND mouth), Productivity: Tasks need clear stopping points, Sleep: Giving 4-1-4 Sleeping Rythm a try currently, and so on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driving through the australian outback in the back of a mazda. You just never get tired of watching the landscape.

Improved my acne, by changing my diet.

Convinced part of my baccalaureate year-level to give part of the collectively generated money to charity. And peculated a little bit and gave it to charity.

Moved a large object in front of a public institution - I cannot get more specific.

Joined the banquet of a bank's annual meeting with two friends, telling everyone we're the new interns, Talked with some employees, got some free food and starteled an acquaintance who genuinely worked for the bank.

Teach, Learn, Share

Nonviolent Communication by Marshall Rosenberg
