ABOUT ME

I'm a writing tutor, student and pedalcab driver who would much rather be working in staging, writing offensively hilarious scripts and playing washboard occasionally with my homies (the Haymarket Squares, yeah, you just got name dropped). As well, I enjoy writing, reading, dumpster diving and watching films, as well as the occasional karaoke night. I look forward to finishing school down here and continue my studies in Flagstaff (HOPEFULLY) and take about a two year break from living in hell, as awesome as it is..

I'm very much into eastern philosophy. I like to live simply so that others may simply live. and fuck the system.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just moved to a new house called Shangri-la and we hope to host soon, as our dogs get more socially adapted to being around people. We enjoy cooking, biking, reading, playing music and watching movies.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

About 11 years ago, I traveled around the country and worked with groups like Food Not Bombs as well as the Industrial Worker's of the World. I did much couchsurfing back then, met some fucking sweet people and had a blast. I've also hosted at various activist houses around downtown PHX, especially at the Tribe! and Phantom House, where we hosted many bands/activists that would play/speak at our house.

Interests

I like bikes. Bikes, bikes, bikes.. But I also like books, movies, awesome pens, garlic, cooking, listening to music, doing dishes, vinyl, and ska shows.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I used to hike around wilderness areas with my friends to scare off local species from trophy hunter's guns. Once, I even locked my neck to a gov't agency's gate to draw attention to their pointless killing of mountain lions in our mountains.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm pretty damn good with tools and electronics. I'm also pretty knowledgeable with herbal remedies. As well, I'm a wonderful listener. I'd love to learn even more about bicycle repair and self-defense. I enjoy learning new things.
