My first name is Ulugbek, or just Bek. My last name is too long and awkward to show :-). I am originally from Uzbekistan, but have been living in Europe since 2008 and in Denmark since 2011.

I am calm and introverted, interested in cinema, yoga, meditation, healthy lifestyle and photography. Partly spiritual, partly vegetarian, partly crazy :). I am open-minded and get alone with many people. I'm small, so you can probably beat me easily :-), though I don't recommend doing it.

Besides my 9am-to-5pm job, I regularly organize film events at Copenhagen Cinema Club through meetup.com.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like travelling, meeting new people and getting free couch!... and sharing one when I have one.

I have many favourites movies, and it would be difficult to list them here.

I like reading fiction novels. Unfortunately, not much time for this (which is a lame excuse really, because I can find time if needed).

I listen mainly to mainstream pop music (yes, it's not so cool, I know). Among the specific bands that I like, Owl City can be one.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Came to Europe alone and travelled from country to country with 50-kilo suitcase, which weighs more than me!
- Got lost in a forest in Uzbekistan and thought I would die (which is ironic, because Uzbekistan hardly has any forests).
- Travelled to dangerous places on Earth: Haiti (Port-au-Prince), North-Eastern India (Manipur), parts of Nigeria, and Tivoli amusement park in Copenhagen (that free-fall tower was freaking scary!).
- Did rock climbing in Sweden!
- Swam in an ocean under rain and thunder (and by "ocean" I mean an open hotel pool).
- Peed against a wind...., although I don't recommend it.
