About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Discover Miami's hidden gems

ABOUT ME

Moved in 2012 to Miami from Houston, where I worked as an elementary teacher for 3 years (Kinder, 1st, and 5th)--best/worst job ever, haha. I moved here with my boyfriend (a resident at Jackson). We're both pretty busy and usually wind up hanging out in SoBe/Brickell--would be nice to do other fun things.

I really enjoy music, shows/concerts, traveling, cooking, dancing the night away, drinking with friends, meeting random people, some video games (like Guitar Hero,Street Fighter, Burnout), movies, cardio, Capoeira, language exchanges, ice cream, etc.

I studied abroad in Hamburg, Germany. I absolutely loved it there and hope to go back one day, at least to visit.

Also, waere schon mit jemandem deutsch zu qwatschen/ueben...bin jetzt ziemlich geroestet!

PHILOSOPHY

Haha, I'm a bit of a philosophy major, so this isn't always an easy question to answer in such a small space. But in general, I would say:

-Breathe, you're alive!
-Steh auf, wenn du am Boden bist!
-Und morgen wird die Sonne wieder scheinen!
-Pa' delante!

I try to be positive in general!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like meeting new people and exploring new places. I would like to attend more CS gatherings not that I have more time and possibly host a person now and then.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a lot of fun going to CouchSurfing events in Houston. I hadn't realized that it was such a big/welcoming/fun community.

As far as actual couchsurfing,I've only done it twice. Once in Stockholm with a few friends and another time in Dortmund, Germany for the Love Parade. I had a great time both times and would love doing something similar again.

Too many. But I really like comedies, horror, and psychological thrillers.

I like a lot of different types of music (eclectic if you will), but I'm usually listening to some type of rock. Here's a list if you're interested:
