About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Living in the moment. Experiencing each one as they come.
ABOUT ME
I'm an energetic, creative person who enjoys meeting new people. I'm boisterous 95% of the time... but bring it down to a simmer sometimes - like when I meditate. I am cat lover to a fault. You'll catch me behind the lens of my camera, cruising around town on my vintage bike or longboard or up on the hill if it's snowing, or tearing it up on the dance floor. I am a social butterfly who can show you some brilliant places to hang out/eat/drink.
Also worth mentioning: If you are wondering where to eat if you have dairy/gluten issues, I can help! Vancouver has some great spots to eat if you have food allergies!
PHILOSOPHY
Life's too short for cheap wine and bad coffee!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
With the positive feedback I have heard from friends who have used and/or supplied the Couch Surfing movement I knew I wanted to become involved. So far, so good! I have hosted in addition to showing CS members around.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted and been hosted by random strangers throughout my life. One experience came a few years back just after the Burning Man Festival. A couple of people I had met down there were on their way through my area on their way back home. They called me out of the blue asking if I knew of a camp site they could rest at. Before they knew it, I had them over to mine and supplied two weary travellers with a cold beer, a shower and a comfy couch to sleep on!

Music, Movies, and Books
Musically: electronic music rules my airwaves, along with a healthy dose of big band and some classics.
Movies: I love the cinema! But not hollywood types of films. More art house/foreign films.
Books: Any thing by Iian Banks, Dali Lama, Dr. Seuss, Chuck Palahniuk, Shakespeare
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Even though I have been going for 10 years, I am still blown away by the sunrise over the Black Rock mountain range down at Burning Man in Nevada. It is perhaps the most stellar thing I have experienced.
Teach, Learn, Share
You only get one first cup of coffee in the morning, so I believe it should be fabulous!
