Curious, easygoing and well-mannered :)

I am a definite extrovert. I believe traveling is all about meeting interesting people, exposing yourself to another culture, collecting impressions. I tend to use it to stimulate my generally undernourished creative spirit :)

PHILOSOPHY

I believe contact with a specific country and culture is most authentic when mediated by some local enthusiasts. I also believe in free traveling and secretly dream about the collapse of world tourism and hospitality industry.

It is very difficult to sum up one's taste in arts but I'll give it a try :)

Music: I enjoy 90's alternative rock, especially Faith No More, PJ Harvey, Alice in Chains etc.; 70's rock, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd; punk rock; gypsy punk; Brechtian punk cabaret, hehe; trip hop, a bit of hip hop, and I better stop here before exhausting all genres of music.

Books: all I can do is a very random list of favourites - Maupassant, Kurt Vonnegut, Truman Capote, Stanislaw Lem, Strugatsky, Salman Rushdie, Patrick Suskind, Haruki Murakami, Amelie Nothomb ...

Movies: I like Wim Wenders, Tom Tykwer, Lars von Trier, Jean Jeunet :)

There are plenty of amazing things to see all around us! :) :) I'd like to think of myself as someone living an interesting and fulfilling life, still I'm not sure I have done anything truly outstanding. Maybe my trip to India bagpacking with my mom is eccentric enough for this section :)
