I grew up in a small and quite calm town in the state of São Paulo.
I had the privilege to study at a Waldorf school where I constantly had contact with nature, art and artisanal handicrafts, wich helped me to further self-development and self-improvement, not only in regards to professional knowledge but also as a human being, It was a very special experience to me. There I realized my passion for art and had the opportunity to further engage with it.
I have always worked with my family at a photography and video store. Therefore, I have constant contact with digital arts. When necessary and even as a hobby I like to photograph. I believe capturing the beauty of reality in a photograph is a form of expression and communication. Currently, I study theatre and dance (classical ballet and contemporary dance).
In my free time, I do volunteer work at the town’s animal shelter. I dedicate myself to reading and learning, to collage art and painting. I'm always thinking about projects and looking for new experiences and opportunities. As well as always striving to grow as an artist.
I'm a very calm and organized person, and a good listener too; passionate about nature, animals (I have a dog called Pitoco, almost two because his friend Preta, a stray and lovely dog, always come to visit us), music (whenever I can, I do everything while listening to music) and new life experiences. Mainly, I'm interested in the real connection between people, their cultures and the expansion of the spiritual mind.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A year ago my boyfriend and I decided to travel to all possible places with a little money and a few luggage. Then I discovered Couchsurfing through a traveler who shared her life experiences with people who had the same curiosity. I thought everything would fit perfectly with our plans. I believe that's a great opportunity to learn about the different cultures and places around the globe, and also meeting and exchanging experience with the natives.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm very eclectic with regards to music, also I love music festivals. I always liked to discover new songs and getting to know people's taste in music, thinking about how much that says about them. I especially enjoy alternative music, indie, rock, folk, 80's and more. That remembered my youth.
I also love Brazilian music (such as samba, MPB, etc.) and hope to share it with people.

Oh, and I'm quite passionate about the visuals of Wes Anderson films.

Books: The Diary Of Anne Frank, El Libro de Los Abrazos (Eduardo Galeano), Capitães de Areia (Jorge Amado), The Hunger Games (Suzanne Collins), A Porta Aberta (Peter Brook), O Poder do Agora (Eckhart Tolle), Marina (Carlos Ruiz Zafón).

Currently, reading theatre books and books about feminism and female authorship.

I'm with my heart open to teach everything I know related to art, dance, music, photography and everything I've learned from life until now. I'm also very interested in learning new things, anything. I think exchanging is very important, so we can share real experiences, knowledge and different ways of seeing the world.
