My name is Ueslei, also know as "Francisco".I'm a person who loves to meet and be around people. I think people are the best thing we have, we can see ourselves in others and also understand the differences which makes us unique. I've once heard that " Life is about the people we meet and the things we create with them" and that's one of the mottos that I like to follow in my life. I'm on couchsurfing first because I love, love, love traveling. I love learning about new places, cultures and people and traveling is the easiest way to do it. I've once heard that "We can't learn about the world in school" We have to get out there and experience new things and places and couchsurfing makes that not even easier but also richer. Just the fact that you get to see and experience the city from a person who actually lives in the city, is just amazing. Not only that, but couchsurfing is also a way to learn or practice new languages. I love learning new languages and the idea with doing that when traveling or hosting is just awesome

I love bicycles! Especially traveling on them! I've already traveled twice by bike and the feeling is just amazing. The people you meet, the food you get to eat, the free smiles we get from people in the poorest places, it's just unbelievable to see that people try to help you when we really love doing something. I love talking too, and sharing life stories or experiences. I love the simple things in life, to see the sunrise from a shore or a mountain to birds flying free in the open sky. Life is just amazing and I've heard that "Life is a miracle" so we have to take advantage of this one shot we have, and try to make it worthwhile.

Musica, film e libri

I love all kinds of music genres, but especially Rock, Indie and Reggae. Life is about movement and music makes it happen with more energy and joy. I love movies that are related to traveling: " Into the Wild", " The Secret Life of Walter Mitty", "Wild", "The Way", etc.... I love to read books related to bicycle traveling and famous writers like Tolstoi, Shakespeare, and Brazilian writers like Paulo Leminski and Clarice Lispector.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I believe that the most amazing thing I've done so far is traveling for a whole year around Europe and Morocco by bicycle. I haven't done any other activity that has taken so much energy and courage from me and when you get to your destination and realize that you did all that depending on yourself is just incredible. Cycling up steep hills and enjoying the air blowing on your face are also worth it when traveling by bike.

I love talking to people and if we are open to learn from them, we start to understand more about us and why we are the way we are. I think something that I can share is the desire to see the world, and the positive thinking that I have towards any situation in life. I always try to look on the bright side of things.
