About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To love,
to know,
to sympathize;
to explore and express myself,
and to see the world.
"君子不患人不知己,更患己不知人。"

ABOUT ME

I keep a list of 999 things that I like:

You can read a little story of mine here: http://teawithstrangers.strikingly.com/

Hola! 你好! I grew up in China and on the 18th day after my 18th birthday, I got on a plane across the Pacific Ocean and landed in the famed Los Angeles. Spent 4 years in a liberal arts college bubble and backpacked in Thailand, Mexico, New Zealand and all over the U.S. in escape.

Do you believe in art ?

My next trip is Coachella - Joshua Tree National Park - LA - Chicago - DC. I want to see lots of art and take a few photos on the road. And journal and reflect a lot.

I'm certified to dive 30 meters deep in the ocean and I'd like to learn juggling and ukulele. Too bad that I can't do both at the same time or...can I?

Iceland. India, the Philippines. Turkey. Israel. Hungary. Italy. are places I dream of in day light. If you are going or you have been to these places, I'd love to share/hear stories.

I live in a 40-person co-op in the heart of San Francisco. You can get a feeling of what's it's like at ubuntusf.org. If we connect on the road, I'd be happy to show you my home and my reality and also around San Francisco.

If you speak Spanish or Italian and want to learn Chinese, I'd love to speak any of those languages with you! I don't speak any Arabic but I'd like to learn! I'd love to participate in rock climbing, mother earth hiking, west coast swing/salsa dancing, coffee tasting, vodka tasting, burn the kitchen cooking, concert going, movie watching. I love films and photography. I've met great couch surfers all over the world and I'm excited to meet some more!

Enjoy life, live the adventure!
