Hello, This is Ufuk from Ankara, Turkey.

I'm an undergraduate university student about to graduate. I'm studying Electronics Engineering along with Political Science at Bilkent University. And currently I am doing an internship in Germany. So I’m living in Erlangen, Bavaria for the moment. I speak fluent English and of course Turkish along with very good French.

In my hometown, I'm an active participant of the Theatre Society of our University. We love to improvise and stage plays. Other than that I am one of the headman of our school's Sociology Society where we organise conferences and discussions hosting valuable sociologists and academics. If I can manage to create more free time I'm trying to help and mentor a robotics team of my former high school. On my free time, my favourite thing is to hunt for artsy events or having a beer with a great discussion of what I find interesting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love anything that is different! I was lucky enough to discover many different countries and cultures, yet, the world is huge and there is so much more to see. The best thing about couch surfing is that it gives you a connection to a local.
